Red flags are a concept often joked about in popular culture, but for people stuck in toxic, abusive relationships, identifying a ‘bouquet’ of red flags in the relationship can help build the confidence needed to leave a harmful situation. It takes women an average of 7 tries to leave an abusive partner, and I wrote this song not only to express my own personal experience, but to give confidence to those women/people trying to get out of their situation.
